LED power supplies have been included in the scope of CCC certification since September 1, 2014.

On July 16, 2014, the State Administration for Market Regulation issued Announcement No. 23 of 2014 on the Implementation Rules for Compulsory Product Certification, which adjusted and revised the original implementation rules for compulsory certification. The new implementation rules will be officially implemented from September 1, 2014. From the date of implementation of the new version of the rules, designated certification bodies shall carry out certification in accordance with the new version of the rules for newly accepted certification commission businesses; Effective mandatory product certification certificates issued before the implementation of the new rules can continue to be used. The conversion of certification certificates by designated certification bodies should be completed through natural transitions such as expiration renewal, standard version change, and product change.

Starting from September 1, 2015, products newly included in the implementation rules will not be allowed to leave the factory, sell, import or use in other business activities without certification. LED power products that have already obtained CQC certification should also undergo CCC certification before September 1st next year. At present, the main standards for CCC certification of LED power supplies are GB 19510.1-2009 GB 19510.14-2009、GB 17743-2007、GB 17625.1-2012。

According to Announcement No. 23 of 2014 issued by the State Administration for Market Regulation, Yiguang Technology has applied to convert 260 models of CQC certificates into CCC compulsory certification certificates since October 2014. In November 2014, we obtained CCC certificates for a total of 260 models in 13 series issued by the China Quality Certification Center.

At present, most countries have mandatory certification for LED power supplies, such as UL in North America, Diamond PSE in Japan, KC in South Korea, etc. The inclusion of LED driver power supplies in mandatory certification will further regulate the Chinese LED driver power supply market, and a new round of market reshuffle is approaching.
